Iowa Region SCCA Event 1 2026 Hawkeye Tech
The Battle of the wind and cold
First off it was freezing this past weekend. Literally, there was frost on the ground when I left my house to drive to Hawkeye Tech. It didn’t warm up much till we finished the trophy presentation after the event was over.
During the morning runs things happened and I’ll update this with more info.
During heat 2 of the morning sessions more things happened. It was a little warmer but not alot.
3rd and 4th heat we had competition, more on that later.
Final after clean up and everything we distributed the year end (2025) trophies. They are awesome!
